What is Duck Day?

Duck Day is the most quacktastic day of the season! It’s the moment when your students receive their Duck orders — pins, lanyards, backpacks, and more — and get to celebrate all the love and support that’s been poured into their program.

Part celebration, part unboxing party, and part theater family bonding time… Duck Day is your chance to make memories, boost morale, and remind every kid why they’re part of something special.

Think:

✨ Laughter.

🎁 Surprise.

🍩 Sprinkle donuts.

📸 Photo ops.

💛 And a whole lotta Duck.

✅ Duck Day Planning Checklist

Let’s make it epic. Here’s your Duck Day to-do list:

BEFORE THE BIG DAY

☐ Pick a Date that works for cast, crew, and your delivery timeline

☐ Plan a Time — before rehearsal? After school? Midday celebration?

☐ Create a Delivery Plan (ex: labeled bags or boxes for each student)

☐ Get Some Donuts — bonus points for colorful sprinkles!

☐ Decorate the Space (streamers, signs, Duck drawings—go wild!)

☐ Prep Your Playlist — theater tunes or Duck Day jams? You decide.

☐ Charge Your Phone — you’ll want pics and videos!

ON DUCK DAY

☐ Welcome everyone and build the hype 🥳

☐ Distribute Duck orders to students

☐ Snap reaction pics as they open their stuff

☐ Celebrate your top fundraisers and thank your supporters

☐ Enjoy donuts and laughs together

☐ Capture a group photo (everyone holding their Ducks!)

AFTERWARD
